Church Of Our Saviour Hosts Sunday Organ Concert

Thomas Heidenreich will perform an Organ Concert on Sunday, March 27, at 3 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour. The event is free and the public is invited.

The pipe organ that graces the balcony at Our Saviour’s is acknowledged as one of the finest tracker (mechanical) pipe organs in the Midwest. The instrument was hand-built in Germany in the late 1980s, then disassembled, shipped and reassembled in place by noted organ builder Klaus Becker at a total cost of over $200,000.

The dedicatory recital was performed on November 28, 1987 by Fond du Lac native David Heller, Music Professor and Organist at Trinity University in San Antonio.

Since then many prominent organists have performed recitals at Church of Our Saviour, and the congregation is pleased to be able to share this unique musical instrument with the community.

Church of Our Saviour is located at the corner of 9th and Main St., in Fond du Lac.
