Patsy A. Scheberl

Patsy A. Scheberl, 78, of Oakfield, died Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital.  She was born June 30, 1943 in Waupun, the daughter of Joseph and Nora (Hackbarth) Tetzlaff.  Patsy graduated from Oakfield High School.  On August 26, 1961 she married Ronald M. Scheberl at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oakfield and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2019.  Patsy worked as a dietary aid at Harbor Haven Nursing Home until her retirement in 2019.  She was a member of St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church.  Patsy enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, going to the casino, scratch offs, rummage sales and finding good deals at thrift stores.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Chris) Rost of Fond du Lac; daughter-in-law, Jan Scheberl of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Ashley (Mitch) Kempen, Brittany Scheberl, Megan Rost, and Joshua Rost; two great grandchildren, Za’Riah Rost and Corbin Kempen, and one due in May.  She is further survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marlene (Roger) Youngbeck of West Bend, Bonnie (Bill) Vielbig of Oakfield, Karen (Rich) Ellis of West Bend, and Michael (Karen) Scheberl of St. Peter; her dog, Precious; nieces, nephews, other relatives, many special neighbors and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her son, Randy Scheberl; her parents; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Dorothy Scheberl; step father-in-law, Fritz Ende; sister-in-law, LaVonne Makus; and nephew, Kevin Makus.

The visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Oakfield with Rev. Matthew Schwartz officiating.  Burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Patsy’s name are appreciated to St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
