Eric David Mand

“The place where you made your stand never mattered. Only that you were there… and still on your feet.”– Stephen King

As a child, Eric was a very adventurous spirit – playing on the water, riding bikes and dirt bikes, water skiing, ice skating, and sledding. At an early age he became an avid Steven King fan, reading most of his catalog. Eric graduated from Goodrich High School in 1994 and went on to attend UW Oshkosh.

After college, Eric lived in Milwaukee, WI.  He worked at Wagner Companies in Brown Deer, WI, for the past eight years. He loved watching and going to Brewer games and other sporting events. He enjoyed listening and playing music. More than anything, he enjoyed going to concerts.

Eric is survived by his father Dennis Mand (Kathy Geis) of Fond du Lac, WI; grandmother Germaine Schneider Mand of Mount Calvary, WI; sister Sara Mand of Soldiers Grove, WI; brother Kevin (Carrie) Mand of Denver, CO; nephew Terran Winfield of Madison, WI; nieces Marie Mand and Lila Mand, both of Denver, CO.

Eric is further survived by aunts and uncles Sharon (Al) Marifke, Margaret Kelley, Sue (Terry) Duel, Sandra Kelley and Kris (Brian) Greve, Bill Kelley, Dave (Lynette) Kelley, Dan (Ann) Kelley, Bob (Jan) Mand, Paul (Betty) Mand, Margaret (Li) Arellano, Sandra Halbur, Beverly (Mark) Thomas and David (Penny) Mand; special friends Chad Hagerman, Brett Hagerman, Kevin Schneider, Aaron Ring and John Marifke; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3rd, at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, WI at 3 p.m. with the service starting at 5 p.m.

Hospice Hope was extremely kind to Eric in his last earthly days.
