ACH Foam Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Facility

ACH Foam Technologies had its grand opening Thursday morning for its new 60,000 square foot facility in the Fox Ridge Business Park in Fond du Lac. Todd Huempfner is the Senior Vice President of Operations for the company. As a major supplier of foam for Mercury Marine their future also hung in the balance when Mercury decided to stay in Fond du Lac in the fall of 2009. He says Mercury’s growth and a bounce back in construction have helped them. ACH was aided in their expansion by a performance based loan administered by the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation. FCEDC President Steve Jenkins says others also had a role in allowing the company to expand. He says it takes collaboration to make deals like the one ACH got work. ACH has had a presence in Fond du Lac since 1985 including a facility on Trowbridge Drive. Other local officials present for the grand opening were Fond du Lac County Executive Al Buechel, State Senator Rick Gudex, State Representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt, members of the City Council and Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce President Joe Reitemeier.
