Ag Emergency Website Available for Farmers Affected by Storm Damage
As cleanup
continues from severe storms that hit the area two weeks ago, a website is
being made available with resources for those who work in production
agriculture that may have been impacted by high winds or flooding. UW-Extension
Crops and Soils Agent Dr. Loretta Ortiz-Ribbing says there is a lot of
different information available at the website, including information on “what to do for food and flooding and financial assistance and
debris removal, but also specific information on flooding effects on corn, and
flooding effects on your forages and for harvesting purposes.” The website is fyi.uwex.edu/agemergency
