Alcohol and drugs in system of 70-year-old that caused crash killing five people

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office released their findings in a crash investigation that happened April 7th on State Highway 60 near Lodi, where five people were killed.

Authorities say the 70 year old driver that caused the crash had a blood alcohol level of .09 and Delta-9 THC present in his system. He was the lone occupant in his vehicle that hit a vehicle with four people.

All but one were pronounced dead at the scene with the 5th person dying later at the hospital.
