Alcohol believed to be contributing factor in Fond du Lac County rollover crash

On October 13, 2025, at approximately 11:59 AM, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single-vehicle crash on Seven Hills Road, between Golf Course Road and Cody Road, in the Township of Forest.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle traveling southbound on Seven Hills Road, just south of Cody Road, left the roadway and entered the east ditch. The vehicle struck a utility pole and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 50-year-old woman from Malone, was trapped inside.
The Mt. Calvary Fire Department responded to the scene and extricated the driver using hydraulic rescue tools. She received immediate care from Mt. Calvary Ambulance personnel until UW Med Flight arrived. She was subsequently airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for advanced medical treatment.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. She was reported to not have been wearing a seatbelt.
Seven Hills Road, between Cody Road and Golf Course Road, was closed for approximately two hours to allow emergency personnel, towing services, and WE Energies crews to work the scene.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Mt. Calvary Fire and Ambulance, City of Fond du Lac Ambulance, and UW Med Flight.
The crash remains under investigation.
