Annual Peach Sale Underway From Local Youth For Christ Organization

The local Christian Organization Youth For Christ wants to make everyone aware of their annual peach sale coming up.

The peach sale is set for August 24th and 25th but orders can be made now to ensure buyers get the peaches they want.

While the fruit they usually get from Georgia was heavily impacted by frost this year, the organization managed to secure a harvest from Colorado. The Colorado freestone peaches will be delivered directly from the grower in Palisade, Colorado.

Youth For Christ holds the peach sale each year as a fundraiser to help with their outreach to students throughout the area, as they work with teen parents, youth in jail and juvenile detention, and offer on-campus programming in area schools.

Pre-ordered Peaches are $45 for a 20lb box, and $25 for a half box. The price goes up $5 if you wait until the 24th and buy the peaches as a walk up order.
