Appleton motorcycle driver killed in Oshkosh crash.

The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in their city Saturday, September 7, 2025.

At about 6:40 p.m. several calls came in reporting a motorcycle vs truck crash at the intersection of High Avenue and Wisconsin Street. Witnesses were advising there were two people unconscious.

Upon arrival, units found several injured with a member of the public performing CPR on one of the patients.

Despite lifesaving efforts, the driver of the motorcycle, a 27-year-old Appleton man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others were transported to a local hospital for treatment due to injuries they sustained from the crash.

Initial investigation showed the motorcycle was eastbound on High Avenue, and the truck was southbound on Wisconsin Street when they collided.

The intersection was closed for about four hours while emergency crews worked the scene.
