Area medical facilities show up in “best of 2024” in U.S. News and World Report
Numerous area hospitals have been ranked among the best in the country for a variety of care.
U.S. News and World Report has released its rankings for different types of care in 2024, and many of our area’s medical facilities ranked in at least some of the categories.
SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital ranked above average in psychiatric care, and average for back repair, COPD, and stroke as well as other fields.
Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan and Oshkosh ranked above average for Maternity care meaning they experienced fewer C-sections and severe newborn complications.
They also exhibited low episiotomy rates and higher rates of breast milk feeding which contributed to the mark of “high performing.”
