Around 70 Employees to be Affected by Agnesian HealthCare Billing Operations Shift

Around 70 employees of Agnesian HealthCare’s Billing
operations will be affected as the company prepares to transition some workers
to service centers in different cities within the next year. Agnesian HealthCare
said in a statement they will be transitioning those workers to service centers
located in Madison and St. Louis over the next 10 months, while still having
patient billing services representatives on-site in Fond du Lac. “We will work
closely with each impacted employee to help them transition to one of these two
service centers or another position within Agnesian HealthCare or SSM Health,”
Shelly Haberman, Public Relations Supervisor said in an email. She says the
changes are part of a continuing effort to “streamline services” to “reduce
unnecessary variation and duplication of work, while deploying industry-best
practices that ensure a consistently exceptional experience for all those we
serve.”

Haberman says the process has started now so employees “have
time to explore their options and make the best decision for themselves and
their family.” She says the company’s hope is to match some of the affected employees with other employment opportunities within their local and regional ministries.
