Author brings stories of famous people in Wisconsin to library

The Fond du Lac Public Library has announced an upcoming event that will touch on connections between many well known people and the State of Wisconsin.

Dean Robbins, author of the book Wisconsin Idols, will be on hand to discuss his book which profiles 100 influential figures with connections to Wisconsin, including both famous names like Oprah Winfrey, Harrison Ford, and Elvis, and lesser-known individuals, exploring their surprising links to the state through personal anecdotes and historical details.

The event takes place Thursday, January 22nd from 6-7 pm in the library’s Mclane Room.

The event is free to attend but limited to 64 seats so registration is required which can be done on the library’s website. Those unable to attend can see the event live online. Registration is also required for online viewing.
