Back To School FDL Volunteers Needed

Back to School FDL is seeking to expand their list of volunteers who can donate any amount of time to this community-wide collaboration that takes place every year in August. Of course, leading up to Distribution Day, many people are needed to ensure that: supplies are collected and sorted, families are registered, money is raised to purchase the supplies, the community is aware of when the event takes place, and people are prepped for working supply tables and escorting children through the shopping experience on that busy, busy day in August.

Consider joining our Back to School team this year. You can make an impact on children’s lives by giving just a few hours of your time during the months from May through August. Back to School FDL is a program that works. Over the past several years, an average of 1200 kids per year have benefited from this community effort, an effort that takes many, many helping hands. Join us as we help children from the area start school next September with the supplies they need.  Help us help kids begin school with confidence; you can make a difference in a child’s life.
