Baldwin Touts Federal Water Investment In WI

U-S Senator Tammy Baldwin says a major water quality investment from the infrastructure bill Biden signed in November will benefit Wisconsin families

“Both lead in drinking water, and forever chemicals in drinking water, are threats to human health.”

The Wisconsin Democrat says the federal funding will help replace lead service lines and clean up PFAS contamination. According to the Legislative Fiscal Bureau, Wisconsin will receive 347 million dollars in clean water funding, and an additional 522 million in revolving loan funds for safe drinking water over a five year period.
