Barn Fire in the Town of Springvale

Several area fire departments were on scene of a barn fire
in the Town of Springvale early this morning. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s
Office first responded to the fire at W11766 County Highway T just after five-A.M.
A person who lives at the address first reported the fire. The barn is
considered a total loss. The barn contained hay bales as well as a dog, two
pigs and 30 chickens that are not accounted for and are also presumed lost. Assisting
at the scene were fire departments from Brandon-Fairwater, Alto, Waupun,
Rosendale, the City of Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac and Van Dyne and Lifestar
Ambulance.
