Beaver Dam Man Charged For Trying To Run Down Deputies

A 58-year-old Beaver Dam man was recently charged for allegedly trying to rundown two Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies with his car. Keith Nickels is charged with one felony count of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. According to the criminal complaint the incident happened last Thursday night at a mobile home park in the Town of Beaver Dam. The two deputies were trying to serve a warrant in an unrelated case. No one was injured during the incident. He was released on a $5,000 signature bond and has a preliminary hearing on November 2nd.
