Becker Family Donates To NFDL Veterans Memorial

The North Fond du Lac Village Board this week received an $800 donation from the Cliff Becker family. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says Becker served in two wars and between his time in the military and the American Legion Post 156 he represented our armed forces well for nearly 70 years. He says recently Cliff passed away and the donation came out of money the family received during his funeral. He says the family identified in the obituary that donations would be going to the Veterans Memorial. Hornung says when they were first raising funds to create the memorial Cliff Becker gave a sizeable donation for the effort.
