Big kites set to fly in Lakeside Park

Sunday, June 22, 2025, will be Big Kite Day in Lakeside Park, hosted by the friends of Lakeside Park and The Wisconsin Kiters.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Wisconsin Kiters will be flying all kinds and sizes of kites at Frazier Point on the Park’s west end.

This will be the second annual Big Kite Day in Fond du Lac.

Food will be available at the food tent with Big Axe Chops and The Main Celebration-Gourmet Dessert Parlor. Food items will include grilled eats, chopped sandwiches, and a wide variety of cookies, cupcakes and cake pops.

The Friends of Lakeside Park will have their tent set up with $1 water and other items for purchase, as well as a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds raised are used to improve Lakeside Park.
