Boil/Bottle Water Advisory In Ripon

The city of Ripon finds itself under a “boil/bottle water” advisory today, following a loss of water pressure Wednesday(12/1/2021).

Local officials are still trying to pinpoint what caused the pressure drop, but are concerned that the drop may increase the risk of contamination entering the drinking water.

If you have ice, food, or beverages that were prepared with unsafe tap water, you should dispose of it. The city of Ripon said it will notify the public once the DNR advisory has been lifted.
