Bomb Threat Suspect Charged
Dodge County authorities this morning charged a
31-year-old Markesan man for a series of bomb threats in Waupun and across the
area. Bond was set at $200,000 cash for Aaron Schreiber who was charged with 15
counts of making a bomb threat, 10 counts of sex offender working with children,
and 16 bail jumping counts. Police became aware of Schreiber after learning the
convicted sex offender had been refereeing basketball and volleyball games in
the Waupun area and were able to link him to bomb threats through his cell
phone. Waupun Police say their were 12 bomb threats made in four days across the
City and there were also bomb threats in Beaver Dam, Fox Lake and Ripon. The 41
charges brought against Schreiber could add up to a maximum of 273 years in
prison and $560,000 in fines.
