Brat Fry For Waupun Police K9 Program

The Waupun Police Department will hold a brat fry today and tomorrow to support the department’s K9 fund. The new police dog Boomer and the K9 vehicle will be on hand at the Piggly Wiggly in Waupun where the brat fry will be held. Police Chief Scott Louden says Boomer joined the department last month. He says Boomer, a German Shepherd was certified with Officer Ryan Schneider his handler.The two started patrolling the city at the beginning of the month. Louden says they are looking to keep funding in the program to support it. Hours for the brat fry each day are from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
