Brewers Return Home on Friday for Long Homestand

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers will return to American Family Field for their longest homestand of the season and first opportunity to take on interleague competition at home. The Crew will play nine games, all against American League teams, including the Boston Red Sox (April 21-23), Detroit Tigers (April 24-26) and Los Angeles Angels (April 28-30).

Fans won’t want to miss the major gate giveaways on Saturday, April 22 where the first 30,000 ticketed fans will receive a Yelich “Yeli” Tumbler, courtesy of American Family Insurance, and on Saturday, April 29 where fans can receive a long-sleeve hooded shirt featuring Barrelman, courtesy of UScellular®. Starting this homestand, gates will open two hours before the first pitch on Saturday home games to accommodate increased foot traffic (gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch for all other home games).

The Brewers will celebrate the State of Wisconsin’s 175th anniversary of statehood with the first theme night of the season, Wisconsin Night, on Friday, April 28. Fans can purchase a special Theme Night ticket package and receive an exclusive fuzzy Brewers State Logo-shaped blanket.

The first Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) Weekend of the season will take place April 28-30 during the series against the Los Angeles Angels. BCF Weekend will focus fundraising efforts during three different weekend series this season to further build awareness and raise money to support children and families in Greater Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin. Activities will be located in the right field corner on the Field Level concourse, where fans can enjoy fundraising games and sales of merchandise, with proceeds going directly to BCF.

Friday, April 21 vs. Boston Red Sox – 7:10 p.m.
Miller Lite Beerpen – Fans 21-or-older in the Miller Lite Beerpen will receive a free Brewers hat, courtesy of Miller Lite.

Student Nights – Student Nights, presented by UW Credit Union are back for the 2023 season, but new for this year college and high school students can purchase $9 tickets for every Monday – Friday home game. Visit www.brewers.com/Students for more information.

Ceremonial First Pitch

  • Brewers Jackie Robinson Scholar Rhea Goodwyn will receive on-field recognition and participate in a ceremonial first pitch.
  • The Grand Prize winner of the Jackie Robinson Art Showcase will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Jackie Robinson Day

  • As is tradition, players, managers and coaches will once again wear Robinson’s iconic number.
  • The Milwaukee Brewers, with assistance from Everfi, launched the Jackie Robinson Art Showcase, encouraging Wisconsin fans 18 years old and under to create an original artistic expression that captures the spirit of one or more of Jackie Robinson’s values, as identified by his daughter Sharon’s book, “Jackie Robinson’s Values to Live By: Becoming Your Best Self” – citizenship, commitment, courage, determination, excellence, integrity, justice, persistence and teamwork. The top three artists and their families will be invited to American Family Field for a future game and will be recognized on-field, with their artwork displayed on the Brewers scoreboard and online.

Drive for Charity, presented by BCF Leadership Council and Newsradio 620 WTMJ – Brewers Community Foundation invites fans to donate pet supplies, or a donation of $10, to the Drive-Thru Drive for Charity in the Cooper parking lot near Helfaer Field at American Family Field on Thursday, April 20 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Those who donate will receive a collectible Willy Adames pin. The first 200 fans who donate at the Drive-Thru on April 20 will also receive a collectible Brewers bobblehead. Fans may continue to donate pet supplies or contributions inside American Family Field at the Potawatomi (right-field), home plate and left-field gate entrances during the Brewers homestand against the Boston Red Sox (April 21-23) or online at brewers.com/BCF.

Saturday, April 22 vs. Boston Red Sox – 6:10 p.m.
Yelich “Yeli” Tumbler, courtesy of American Family Insurance – The first 30,000 ticketed fans that enter the gates will receive a Yelich “Yeli” Tumbler to keep drinks cool as Brewers fans cheer on their Crew.

Ceremonial First Pitch – SistaStrings – Sisters Monique and Chauntee Ross – will throw ceremonial first pitches. They have recently performed with Brandi Carlile at the Grammys and on Saturday Night Live.

Month of the Military Child – The ceremonial first pitch and Toyota Junior Announcer will feature 8-year-old Calvin Cummings, whose father serves in the United States Navy.

Sunday, April 23 vs. Boston Red Sox – 1:10 p.m.
Sunday Fun-Day Bundle – New for 2023! Fans can get four Terrace Outfield tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and one general parking pass for just $59.

Autograph Sunday – Children ages 14 and under are invited to the seats by the warning track to receive an autograph from a Brewers player, alumni and/or other Brewers personality from 11:50 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. every Sunday home game from April through August, courtesy of PNC Bank. Up to six different stations will feature a player or other personality each Sunday. Autographs are limited to one per child and full-sized bats are not allowed.

Kids Run the Bases – Following all Sunday home games, kids 14 and under are invited onto the field to run the bases, presented by Aurora Health Care®.

Military Discount – On Sunday home games during the regular season, active-duty military and veterans can show their ID the day of the game and receive two complimentary Terrace Level tickets or purchase half-price tickets in other select locations.

Tuesday, April 25 vs. Detroit Tigers – 6:40 p.m.
Brewers Hometown Champion – The Brewers Hometown Champions recognize the courage, commitment, and sacrifices of the men and women in fire rescue service, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and first responder roles across Wisconsin. These selfless heroes protect and serve communities every day and risk their lives to do so. The first recipient of Brewers Hometown Champions Award will be fallen Milwaukee Police Officer, Peter Jerving, who made the ultimate sacrifice for his community on Feb 6, 2023, when he was fatally shot in the line of duty. Officer Jerving was a Milwaukee native who sought to be a law enforcement officer since the young age of 13. He realized that dream by serving on the Milwaukee Police Department for four years. Officer Jerving will be honored during pregame, and his family will be onsite to throw a first pitch.

Ceremonial First Pitch – West Bend native and 2023 Speed Skating World Champion Jordan Stolz will throw a ceremonial first pitch. He is the youngest World Champion in speed skating history and the first male speed skater to win three individual gold medals at a single World Championship.
