Brewers Start 2 Series Homestand Tomorrow

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers will be back at American Family Field on Monday, July 3 for a week-long homestand to battle against two divisional opponents, the Chicago Cubs (July 3-6) and the Cincinnati Reds (July 7-9), in a pivotal week for the Brew Crew.

The annual favorite “Jerseys Off Their Backs” raffle takes place Friday, July 7 when the Crew takes on the Cincinnati Reds on at 7:10 p.m. Brewers Wives will be available throughout the ballpark selling raffle tickets – one ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20. Twenty-six lucky winners will receive an autographed City Connect jersey that will be coming straight off the back of the players in uniform that night. Proceeds support Brewers Community Foundation.

It’s been 30 years since the Famous Racing Sausages went from a dot-matrix scoreboard animation to real-life mascots racing along the warning track. On July 7, the Famous Racing Sausages will celebrate their 30th anniversary with special in-game activations, giveaways, and an extra special Johnsonville® Sausage Race featuring the original three racers – Bratwurst, Polish and Italian Sausage. Don’t miss the chance to cheer on your favorite sausage! Note: The first race officially occurred on June 27, 1993.

The Brewers are calling all kids and their families for Sesame Street Day on Saturday, July 8. Fans can purchase a special Theme Night ticket for Sesame Street Day and receive a Brewers Cookie Monster bobblehead who holds a “C is for Crew” sign.

Ceremonial First Pitch – Cooper Roberts, an 8-year-old Brewers fan who was paralyzed in the Highland Park parade shooting last year, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. His twin brother, Luke, will be the Toyota Jr. Announcer in the fourth inning.

Flyover – Following Monday’s National Anthem, a KC-135R Stratotanker provided by the Wisconsin Air National Guard 128th Air Refueling Wing will perform a flyover over American Family Field. *Will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.

Tuesday, July 4 vs. Chicago Cubs – 3:10 p.m.
America250 Launch – The United States Semiquincentennial Commission, also known as America250, the official nonpartisan entity charged with planning and orchestrating the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding, is launching the three-year countdown to 2026 with “America’s Invitation,” a new nationwide public awareness and engagement campaign encouraging every American to be part of this historic commemoration. In addition, a special ceremonial first pitch will feature inspiring Wisconsinites from all walks of life, who together reflect the diversity of our community, and of our country. 

National Anthem and Color Guard – The National Anthem will be performed Wisconsin Army National Guard Veteran Zakk Daniel with a joint color guard representing all six branches of the United States military.

Flyover – Following Tuesday’s National Anthem, four UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters provided by the Wisconsin Army National Guard in West Bend, Wisc. will perform a flyover over American Family Field. *Will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.

Wednesday, July 5 vs. Chicago Cubs – 7:10 p.m.
Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day – Brewers Season Seat Holders will receive 25 percent off concessions and $25 off retail purchases of $100 or more. 

Sal Bando Recognition – Former Brewers third basemen, Wall of Honor inductee and General Manager, Sal Bando, will be recognized during a pre-game ceremony with his grandsons throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Bando passed away in January 2023 at the age of 78. Bando spent the last five seasons (1977-81) of his 16-year Major League career with the Brewers after signing as the first free-agent acquisition in franchise history. Bando went on to join the front office following his playing career, serving as a special assistant to the general manager. On Oct. 8, 1991, he was named the sixth general manager in franchise history, a position he held until Aug. 13, 1999.

Ceremonial First Pitch – The Milwaukee Bucks new Head Coach, Adrian Griffin, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.

Thursday, July 6 vs. Chicago Cubs – 1:10 p.m.
Ceremonial First Pitch – Tom Schraeder and Jim Saletta met 15 years ago when Jim saved Tom’s life after he suffered a heart attack in the parking lot before the Brewers vs. Cubs game. The men have since met up each year at a Brewers vs. Cubs game to celebrate their friendship. Tom received life-saving care at Aurora St. Luke’s from Dr. David Kress, who surprised Tom with a video wishing him well.

Theme Night: Sesame Street Day – With the purchase of a special Theme Night ticket, fans will receive a Brewers Cookie Monster bobblehead. Plus, look out for special appearances from Sesame Street characters.

Pre-Game Recognition – The University Wisconsin Women’s Hockey team will be onsite for special pre-game recognition. The team won its seventh national championship this year, making the Wisconsin Badgers women’s hockey team the winningest team in NCAA history.

Sunday, July 9 vs. Cincinnati Reds – 1:10 p.m.
Ceremonial First Pitch – Miss America 2023, Grace Stanke, will throw a ceremonial first pitch. A native of Wausau, Wisc., she is the third Miss Wisconsin to win the national title.

Autograph Sunday – Children ages 14 and under are invited to the seats by the warning track to receive an autograph from a Brewers player, alumni and or other Brewers personality from 11:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. every Sunday home game from April through August, courtesy of PNC Bank. Up to six different stations will feature a player or other personality on each of these Sundays. Autographs are limited to one per child and full-sized bats are not allowed. Times are subject to change.

Sunday Fun-Day Bundle – Fans can enjoy four Terrace Outfield tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a general parking pass for just $59.

Kids Run the Bases – Following all Sunday home games, kids 14 and under are invited onto the field to run the bases, presented by Aurora Health Care®.
