Bridges over Fox River in Oshkosh to close for inspection next week

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced routine maintenance and inspections of lift bridges in the city of Oshkosh will close the bridges for a short period the first week of May.

On Tuesday, May 5 the Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge will close.
On Wednesday, May 6 the Wisconsin Street Bridge will close.
And on Thursday, May 7, The Highway 21/Congress Avenue Bridge will close.

Closures each day will take place at 6 a.m. and the bridges will reopen by 4 p.m.

The DOT says all bridges are safe to travel, and this is just a routine inspection.
