Bucks Sign Kyle Korver; Connaughton Named to USA Select Team
The Milwaukee Bucks have announced the signing of free agent guard Kyle Korver. Korver played in 70 games last year with Cleveland and Utah, averaging 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, while connecting on just under 40-percent of his shots from beyond the three-point line. Korver is entering his 17th year in the NBA, and has played in 1,174 games in his career. He ranks third among all active NBA players in three-point field goal percentage at 42.9 percent.
Bucks guard Pat Connaughton was named to the 13-man USA Basketball Men’s Select Team on Thursday. The select team will train with the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s National Team – which includes Bucks players Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez – between August 5th and 9th. The Select team will join also join the National team players in the USA Blue vs. USA White exhibition game in Las Vegas on August 9th.
