Buechel Begins 7th Term as County Executive

This week Fond du Lac County
Executive Al Buechel began his seventh term as County Executive.
Buechel first served on the Fond du Lac
County Board for 17 years before being
elected as County
Executive in 1993.
Buechel was reelected to the position earlier this month and was sworn in for
the new term on Tuesday by County Clerk Lisa Freiberg. Buechel is the longest
serving county executive in the history of the State of Wisconsin.
