Bull’s Best: This Abandoned Wisconsin Building Will Send Chills Down Your Spine.

As we inch our way closer and closer to the beginning of fall, we’re reminded of what the season will bring. Chilly temps, pumpkin flavored everything, and Packers football. But, one thing most people forget about fall, is the eerie feeling we get as the days get shorter. I can’t quite explain what it is, but, there’s something dark and chilling about the autumn season that gets me in the mood for the macabre. Halloween plays a large part in that for sure, but even before Hallows Eve, I find myself wanting to explore the darkest parts of the human curiosity. That’s why I’m OBSESSED with abandonment.
Let me introduce you to one of Wisconsin’s abandoned structures… The Brule Schoolhouse.
Apparently built in 1937, This historic building was originally intended to be used as a schoolhouse. As you can tell from the photo, it no longer is in use. Many tourists visit the site each year, and some have even reported a uneasy feeling when photographing it. To some, it looks like a building that needs to be torn down. To others, like me, it’s a reminder of what creepy things lurk in our neighborhoods.
