Buses To Books

The Fond du Lac Area Transits “Buses to Books” program had another successful summer. Through the program children under the age of 17 can get a free bus ride to the library and home, by showing the driver a library card. Transit Director Lynn Gilles says they average about 300 kids a summer that take advantage of the program and had a better than average summer. June was really strong for the program helped in part by daycare programs and summer school.
