Campbellsport Man Arrested For OWI, With Child Under 16 In Vehicle

A Campbellsport man has been arrested for  operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense, with a child in the vehicle under 16. A Wisconsin State Trooper stopped a vehicle traveling northbound on Hwy. 67 near Campbellsport early Wednesday morning, after noticing some indications of impairment by the driver. The 28-year old operator of the vehicle was given Standarized Field Sobriety Tests and was subsequently arrested. The child was safely released to a relative, while the driver was transported to the hospital for a blood draw and then released.
