Can’t Depend On The Snow dog sled races take place for last time Saturday

The annual event, Cant Depend On The Snow, A dog sled pulling competition that takes place at Rolling Meadows Golf Course each December for the last 20 years, will take place for the last time today, Saturday, December 9, 2023. The event raises money for the Make a Wish Foundation and has teams of sled riders pulled by dogs through a course on the golf course. As the name of the event suggests, it happens with snow on the ground or not. If there is no snow, like will be the case today, the sleds will have wheels on them. The event is free to attend and runs from 10 AM to 3PM. Santa will be on hand for photos with pets and kids after 11.
