Census Workers Begin Going Door To Door

If you still haven’t filled out this year’s census, expect to have someone knocking on your door soon. State consumer protection administrator Lara Sutherlin says census workers are working through the state this month, and that it’s easy to check to see if you’re working with a real census worker.

“They should go to 2020census.gov or you can call 844-330-2020 to ask any information about whether or not the person at your door is legitimate or any other information you may have.”

Sutherlin says anyone asking you financial information or about your social security number is not a legitimate worker.
