Charges Filed Against Shooting Suspect

Charges were filed Tuesday against the 19-year-old Fond du Lac man who fired off guns in Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac neighborhoods last Wednesday night. Mason Paasch faces one felony charge and 9 misdemeanors for the incidents in which no one was hurt. He’s facing one count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, two counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated, two counts of discharging a firearm within 100 feet of a building, one count of carrying a concealed weapon, one count of obstructing an officer, two counts of disorderly conduct, and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia. Paasch posted a $5,000 cash bond to be released from jail Monday and will get a summons for an initial court appearance.
