Charges filed in Milwaukee County body dismemberment case

The person of interest in the found body parts incidents in Milwaukee has now officially been charged and the victim has been identified.

Prosecutors have charged 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and arson of property other than a building in the death and dismemberment of 19-year-old Sade Robinson.

According to police, Anderson and Robinson went on a date April 1, and at some point, he killed and dismembered her, spreading her body parts around Milwaukee County and lighting her car on fire, in an attempt to conceal his crime.

Not all of Robinson’s remains have been found, authorities said. Authorities first investigated a leg found in a county park along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Cudahy on April second, the day after Robinsons date with Maxwell. The same day authorities responded to her burning car on 29th and Lisbon. Later that day Robinson was reported missing to police.

Days later police would investigate more body parts found over a 3 day period in 3 different locations.

Anderson is being held on a $5 million cash bond and is due back in court April 22nd for a Preliminary hearing.
