Child’s Name Released In Fatal Dog Attack

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the 7-year-old boy who died after being severely bitten by a family dog at a Town of Hustisford residence last Friday afternoon. The boy, Logan T. Meyer, died despite rescue efforts. The dog was a Rottweiler. It was taken to a Humane Society shelter and placed in quarantine. A 911 call reported the incident to the Dodge County dispatcher center at 5:20 that afternoon.
