City Of FDL 2021 Budget Does Not Include Police/Fire Requests, No Lakeside Park Master Plan Projects

The City of Fond du Lac 2021 Proposed Budget has been released, and according to City Manager Joe Moore, the plan calls for the city to continue to provide the same level of services residents have come to expect, with no eliminations or reductions. Moore says there will be no increases budgeted in 2021 for Water Utility and Wastewater rates, and no increases in solid waste collection fees. Also of note is that, while both City Police and Fire/Rescue both requested an additional 6 positions for the upcoming year, those have not been added to the budget. Moore also pointed out that there are no projects or funds included in 2021 related to the Lakeside Park Master Plan.
