City of Fond du Lac announces Labor Day Weekend holiday hours

The City of Fond du Lac has announced their modified hours of operations for the Labor Day Weekend.
City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on
Monday, September 2.
The Municipal Service Center will also be closed on Monday for all services, including garbage and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off.

There will be no garbage or recycling collection on Monday,
September 2nd.

• garbage normally collected on Monday will be collected on
  Tuesday, September 3rd with the normal Tuesday collection. It’s asked that you have
  your garbage set out by 5:00 am on Tuesday to accommodate the additional collections.
  Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
• Recycling collection, performed by Waste Management, will have a
  one-day service delay throughout the remainder of week.

The Senior Center will be closed on Monday, September 2nd.
The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed for Labor Day Weekend
beginning Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd.

and City Transit Buses will not operate on Monday, the 2nd, but will
resume regular routes on September 3rd.
