City of Fond du Lac plans snow removal downtown – “no parking” restrictions will be in place

City of Fond du Lac Public Works will be removing snow from Main Street and side streets in the downtown area starting late Wednesday night, March 18, 2026, and continuing through the night into Thursday morning.

To allow access to all the snow, there will be a parking ban for these areas during this time.

The parking structures next to the Retlaw Hotel and on Macy Street have free parking during the overnight hours so it’s asked you utilize these resources during this time period.
