COVID Cases Drop, Deaths Increase In FDL County

Fond du Lac County saw another dip in confirmed COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations Friday but a spike in deaths.

The Fond du Lac County Health Department reported 67 new confirmed cases of the virus Friday afternoon, along with a drop of 319 active cases.

377 more cases were listed as released while nearly 700 negative tests were reported.

Hospitalizations dropped by 3, with now 10 people receiving medical care in county hospitals due to complications from the coronavirus.

There 9 deaths reported Friday, with the county now recording 202 total deaths attributed to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
