COVID Numbers In FDL County Slowing Slightly

Confirmed and active cases of COVID-19 in Fond du Lac County continue to rise, but not at the levels seen in the past few weeks.

164 new confirmed cases of the virus were recorded Thursday afternoon, with the Fond du Lac County Health Department dashboard showing a total of 27,677 confirmed cases since March of 2020.

Active cases also rose by 164, with the health department monitoring 4,654 active cases .

There were no released cases reported on Thursday, while almost 900 negative tests were processed.

Hospitalizations did dip slightly, down 2. There are now 18 people receiving medical care in county hospitals due to complications from the coronavirus.
