Crash Closes I-41 Near Quad Graphics

A serious crash closed 41 northbound early this morning, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, near the Fond du Lac/Dodge County line.

At about 3:45 AM authorities were dispatched to a crash on 41 north of 49 near quad graphics for a report of two box trucks that were involved in a crash.

When the first officer got on scene he reported that the northbound lanes of 41 were completely blocked and debris was scattered on the road.

Mayville EMS and Brownsville fire department and first responders responded for two injuries that were being reported.

Initial reports were that one driver had back, hip and neck pain and the other driver had an arm injury and was disorientated.

Traffic that was blocked from the crash was finally able to start moving again just over an hour after the crash occurred.

Both lanes were opened up at 6:45 AM.
