Customer Drives Into Panda Express

The customer became upset because he was going to have to wait too long to get his food order. And that’s when things went south in a hurry.

FDL PD was called out Monday evening just before 5:45 p.m. to the Panda Express in the 800 block of W. Johnson St., where a 26-year old male customer had ordered food in the drive-thru, and when he was told it was going to take six minutes, he hit the gas pedal, lost control and crashed into the building.

The accident caused significant damage to the building and to the man’s truck. The driver was cited for Reckless Driving as well as not having insurance. Rumor has it the man ordered the Kung “POW” Chicken.
