Death Investigation

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found during a vehicle fire in the Town of Lamartine late yesterday morning. The County Dispatch Center got a call just before noon Tuesday morning about a vehicle that was on fire at the Outdoor Education Center on Highway 23. Sheriff’s deputies and the Lamartine Fire Department responded. The vehicle was fully engulfed and a man’s body was discovered inside of it. No other details were released about the death investigation.
