Dem Rep. Sara Rodriguez Running For Lt. Gov.

A Democratic legislator from the Milwaukee suburbs has entered the race for Wisconsin lieutenant governor.

Representative Sara Rodriguez’s entrance to the races creates a Democratic primary to determine Governor Tony Evers’ 2022 running mate.

Rodriguez will face Senator Lena Taylor, a Milwaukee attorney who’s has served in the Legislature for 18 years. Rodriguez was elected to the state Assembly just last year. She has a background in health care, and says she believes that will be valuable to voters.
