Denim & Pearls Raises $25,000 For RMC Wellness Center

The recent Denim & Pearls event held at Ripon College’s Great Hall raised more than $25,000 to help support construction of a wellness center at the new Ripon Medical Center. The event featured great food, and bountiful silent and live auction items. A total of 144 guests attended the fundraising event. Foundation for Ripon Medical Center executive director Rita Meidam says, “We are so appreciative of the generous support we received this year, and know that it will be well used through our new wellness center.” Molly Moffitt, of Fond du Lac, was the lucky winner of a beautiful set of pearl earrings. To win, Moffitt purchased a box of Hughes chocolates, which had the winning entry. A matching pearl necklace was also auctioned off that evening. Each participant received a specially-engraved, long-stem wine glass.
