Deputies Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Lakeshore Drive

Two on-duty Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies were injured in a two-vehicle crash along Lakeshore Drive in the town of Friendship on Monday. Just before noon, they collided with a personal vehicle near the intersection with Silver Street. 

The driver of the personal vehicle and the detective that was a passenger in the squad were taken to St. Agnes Hospital – where they were treated and released. 

The detective driving the squad was airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for treatment of serious injures – and was kept overnight. The Sheriff’s Office has requested for the State Patrol to investigate the crash.
