Despite Court Ruling, Some Counties/Cities Keep Order In Place

Despite the Supreme Court’s ruling on
Wednesday overturning the Safer At Home extension, some cities and counties are
choosing to keep the order in place a while longer. Cities like Milwaukee and Racine
are keeping the orders through May 26. Brown County Public Health Officer Anna
Destree made the announcement Wednesday night, requiring residents to abide by
the safer-at-home order until May 20. Anyone who violates the order in Brown County
could face fines. In Dane
County
, Public Health
issued a statement saying the order remains in place until May 26.
