DNR Not Releasing Records of Alleged Harassment
The Department of Natural Resources is not releasing records
detailing allegations of an employee harassing female co-workers. The state
agency is refusing to make the records public – saying human beings make
mistakes.
A March 2018 disciplinary letter sent to the DNR employee reportedly
informs them of a one day suspension back in April. According to that letter,
the employee was drunk at a
hotel back in January and stared inappropriately at one female co-worker before
making an inappropriate comment to another. No other details were available,
and the employee’s name and division were redacted.
