Dock Spiders Game Against the Mallards Suspended Due to Heavy Rain

FOND DU LAC, WI – Due to severe weather, today’s game against the Mallards was suspended following the first inning with the Dock Spiders leading the Madison Mallards 4-0. The game will be completed as a double-header through 9 innings on Saturday, July 12 at 4:05 p.m. The regularly-scheduled game on July 12 will be played afterwards to 7 innings.

Dock Spiders suspended game tickets can be exchanged for any future 2025 home game of equal or lesser value.

The Dock Spiders and the Mallards halted play after only a single rain-filled inning of action that saw Madison go scoreless and Fond du Lac put up four runs off four hits and four walks.

The Dock Spiders started Dylan Immel who struckout one of the five batters he faced in the first while holding Madison scoreless and hitless in limited action.

Offensively the Dock Spiders started off hot as Miles Vandenheuvel, Jarren Sanderson, Brady Blake and William Hoerner each recorded a hit with Sanderson and Blake also recording two of Fond du Lac’s four runs.

As the Mallards and the Dock Spiders took the diamond for the top of the second, officials cleared the field and later suspended the game due to the immense downpour.

The Dock Spiders travel to Madison tomorrow to play the Mallards at 4:05 p.m. local time as Fond du Lac looks to break the season series split between the two.

The next home game for the Dock Spiders will be on Saturday, May 31 at 4:05pm against the Lakeshore Chinooks which falls on one of the Souvenir Seven Giveaway days where fans who show up early will receive a Dock Spiders Bucket Hat presented by Horicon Bank.
