Dodge County house fire draws response from multiple departments

Several fire departments in Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties responded to a house fire in northern Dodge County Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Just before 4 p.m., a passerby came upon a garage and house on fire at W2989 County Highway Y, about six miles west of Lomira.

Due to the size of the fire, the call was upgraded to a MABAS fire call which brought in predetermined mutual aid from several surrounding departments, including some from Fond du Lac County.

No other information has been released about the fire.
