Dog Attacks Pedestrian In Downtown FDL

FDL Police are investigating a late night incident involving
a pitbull attacking a pedestrian. The incident occurred at 10pm last night (Friday night, 01/03/2020) in
the 300 block of Macy St.
A 49-year old male was walking past the house on Macy St. when the dog broke loose from
its collar and attacked the man. The man received 2
puncture wounds to his nose, although he refused an ambulance. The dog was
taken to the FDL Humane Society where it’s being held for on a 10-day quarantine. The owner of the dog claims all the shots are up to date, but was
unable to provide any proof of that.
